Was our tower sold?

We have a lease agreement and have had it for around 10 years. It is located in Morristown/Warsaw area in MN. Our payer for snow removal to the site informed us our site has been sold. Why hasn't Verizon contacted us with this information and what does it mean?

Cell tower was lost in the shuffle possibly?
by: Stephen

Jeanne, I can imagine that your paperwork is sitting on somebody's desk lost in the shuffle of transferring and administering 11,000+ cell towers from Verizon to American Tower.

I don't speak for them, but I have seen several towers and leases that they just lost track of and were close to expiration by the time American Tower was able to contact the landlord.

You should call them and explain the situation and find out the status of your tower. American Tower's number is 877-282-7483.

Good luck.
