If you own a building and sold your rooftop lease during the period of ownership if you wanted to sell the property would you need to have permission from the entity that purchased your lease?

Most likely not but we you would have to read the sales agreement. In most cases they would just need to have a guarantee that the new owner recognizes their rights at the site.
