tower buy out

by Elaine
(Utah)

I have an tower on my property that American Tower leases from us. We have had an offer from ATC Sequoia LLC to pay us a substantial amount more (double) the amount we are getting now for 10 years at which time all our payments would stop. Why would they do this as it is my understanding that American Towers owns ATC Sequoia. Is this something we should do?

Elaine although their offer is "substantially" more that what you are getting now, there is a catch. Either your rent is very low or they want you to take their offer prior to adding another carrier that would significantly change the financials on the deal. Let's discuss as soon as possible.
