Sprint and T-Mobile Merger impact on Crown Castle cell tower

I have a Crown Castle International cell tower on my property and there are all 4 major carriers on the tower including Sprint and T-Mobile, and also AT&T and Verizon. We are receiving a fair rent amount but will Crown Castle lower my rent because of Sprint and T-Mobile merging?

Lee, I do not know the financial terms of your lease agreement. Are you paid a flat fee for the rental or are you receiving compensation due to a co-location revenue share for each subtenant?
While the merger will take time and if approved the consolidation of the merged companies equipment will also take some time, If you have a deal based on revenue share then Crown Castle will most likely reduce the rent they are paying if they take a reduction due to consolidation. If you are receiving a flat rental rate then Crown can only attempt to convince you to renegotiate your compensation to a lower amount or relocate the cell tower to another location where they can get a cheaper rental. To establish the probability of a tower relocation we would need to evaluate that for you based on the specifics of your site.
