Crown Castle has contacted me requesting an additional 20 years on their lease. The current lease expires in 2033. What are the pros and cons of extending the lease please?
I will email them and tell them that I will not extend the lease until I can see some benefit for me, not just them. If they extend an offer, I will let Tower Genius negotiate with them. Ken

What have they offered? Any other CC sites near by? Rent for additional carriers placed on tower in the future? Who is on the tower now, how many? Extension sign on "bonus". Many variable and things to consider with such an option to get the max out of it.
Note that these leases are also bought and sold like a commodity. Their value are based on a few things, one of which is the annual rent and escalator/increase per year. They multiply the annual rent by 10 to 17 times depending on who, what,when,and where.
