In rural areas cell tower development companies like Crown Castle, GTP, SBA Communications and American Tower will usually ask for a 100 foot x 100 foot area. If they are proposing a guyed wire tower they ask for up to 5 acres depending on the height of the tower. They will ask for as much as they can get unless you put your foot down.
