Increasing the existing leased space to include a generator
by Dewayne
(Reseda CA )
Verizon has proposed to us an increase in their building plan to include a generator in exchange for renewing our Parking Lot. The cost of renewing the parking lot would cost Verizon 17K. Should we propose an increase in the present lease amount? If so, how much?

increase in rent by: Anonymous
A new parking lot would be nice if you need one.
However, I would not do it.
I have always negotiated for more rent.
More rent makes your lease more valuable to lease buyers

Monthly payment by: Anonymous
I would go after a monthly payment that will be paid through the life of the lease. You should get a lot more than $17,000 that way.
