Verizon wants to put cell equipment on top of a power pole recently removed, enlarged and relocated on my property. They are offering a one-time payment of $1000 for 25 years. How do I know this is fair? I was not compensated for the removal, replacement, relocation of the existing power pole which when done, caused a sewer back up in my home due to the fact they hit the sewer line while digging for the new pole. I lost personal property and my family was displaced for two days during the cleanup. It cost me $10K. What is the going rate for something like this?
Comments for How much compensation is fair and for how long?
