Do you have an idea of the lease rates for the Greater Syracuse, NY area. We are located about half a mile from the NYS thruway and INterstate 690 and have been approached by Crown Castle.
Crown is only building towers where a tower is in possible need of relocation due to lease or landlord issues. Their strategic relocation team tries to lock landlords into a term sheet or option agreement to use as leverage against the neighboring landlord to negotiate a better deal with them, and your site is likely a fallback / Plan B. the value of the tower depends on how many tenants Crown has. is it a single carrier tower or a 3-4 carrier tower? That will be a determining factor in what it's worth in addition to what other choices they have at neighboring locations.
