There is an existing tower on our property. The lease payment still goes to previous owner through a verbal agreement. How can I find the terms of such lease and if it is open to renewal?
There should be information in your packet from the Title Company, from when you signed your purchase for the home/property. Odds are if the previous owners did this right they retained the right's to that lease agreement at least for the remaining years on it. You would have zero rights to it and would also have zero rights to that land until the lease time frame comes to an end. Again you should be able to find documentation on this in your pile of papers from the Title company. If not then go back to that Title company and request the information cause this is part of their job. They should have the information.
