ATT lease. 4 yrs remaining.

I have AT&T on my property in Los Angeles. The tower was placed there in 1988. In 2000, AT&T asked for a reduction in lease terms via a 3rd party. We agreed to: 6% escalator lowered to 3% and a $200 reduction in monthly rent on a 15year, no cancellation lease. Woo pee! Since then, Sprint has come on board and has panels on the AT&T tower. I get $2,100 from Sprint and $2,100 from AT&T. No Sublease sharing with AT&T. I feel I have been ripped of by ATT and the 3rd party when the scare tactics were used to lower rent in 2000.

The tower is Located at the "East LA interchange" of Freeways. Also known and the "Busiest intersection of freeways in the world" as per wikapedia/google. 10fwy, 60Fwy, 101 Fwy, 5Fwy. Not counting heavy surface street traffic as well.

What to ask for in next lease?

Need clarification

Steve... are you getting $2,100 per carrier monthly ($4,200 monthly?) or is that a yearly amount? Please call us at 888-313-9750.

Besides an Apology?

Steve we feel your pain. Sorry you got your steamrolled by that third party and the carrier. Of course back in 2000 who really knew what these cell sites were worth, and there weren't any cell tower consultants on the internet, and the Wireless Wiseguys (aka Experts) at our company were still working for the carriers and had not come over from the dark side of the wireless industry to represent landlords yet.

We can't tell you what to ask for on this website because a competitor of ours from one of the Appalachian states seems to copy a lot of our content on his website.

But we digress...

Everything is negotiable. We need to review the lease and the location.
