AT&T Cell Tower Lease Rates
by Glenn
(Pacific Beach CA)
Can you tell me what are acceptable lease rates with AT&T Wireless for a cell site in San Diego County? They are looking to lower our monthly rental from $1,450 to about $1,100 when we begin the 2nd five-year term of our AT&T lease. They are saying that because of all the smart phone technology they need to lower their operational costs, and in the spirit of a good long term relationship we should consider their offer or they can't guarantee their long term commitment to our site. ERGO... let us cut your rent or we will walk. I am so angry I wish I could throw them off of our property. We are in La Jolla, and I'm wondering if $1,100 per month is what other landlords are getting from AT&T?
