200 ft US Cellular Tower in Southeastern NC lease ending soon.
200 ft US Cellular Tower with 11 satelites mounted, building with generator coming up for renewal in April 2014. The tower has been on my property for 10 years. Our contract is currently paying $1,000.00 per month in Southeastern NC . What are your thoughts on the new contract lease?

Very rarely do carriers sign leases for 10 years, unless they have no other choice and need coverage badly. Is your lease going to roll over into the 3rd five-year term, or is it expiring? Usually when a carrier exercises their option to automatically renew the lease it doesn't give the landlord the opportunity to revisit the terms and renegotiate.
It's a good thing that the tower is loaded, so they probably aren't going anywhere anytime soon.
