subleases available to primary tenant
I have been approached by a major wireless carrier in Colorado to construct a tower on my land. I'm intrigued but, not only by the income potentially generated by the primary tenant but, also by the possibility of additional wireless carriers wanting to have a similar type unit at that location. But, I expect if the primary tenant owns the tower, they will sublease it out and get all the revenue. Is this how it works? How many tenants can be on one tower? Is it feasible one tower could not handle all the carriers that could possibly want to use the site? Do tower owners typically consider this when negotiating a contract for placement of the tower? Thanks for any advise you can offer.
