Name removed from lease before being signed by husband

by Debbie
(VA)

My name was on the original contract..then my husband and I separated..he had my name removed before signing. The deed was in his name only because he tricked me... but my name was on the mortage and the original land coontract. We are now going to be going thru a divorce.. I found out that they have offered a buyout of the lease. What can I do? This land is marital property and if he receive a check, I will never see a dime. I don't know how long this offer has been. Please help me with what to do.

Get a good lawyer.
by: Sean (Tower Genius)

Debbie,

You need to get a good attorney to protect your rights. This is not an issue for a wireless consultant. If there is proof he forged documents your attorney should be able to protect your rights.
