Legal question regarding AT&T tower on my land

by Lisa and Tom
(Upstate, NY)

Our tower was built in 1995, 30 year lease, orignally Cellular One, now AT&T. The original survey provided by the leasing company is apparently wrong. We've been trying to get them to fix it for years. How do I contact AT&T, since their site management company (American Tower) will not return our calls or let us speak to anyone in their legal department. Can this lease be renegotiated because of their failure to perform? If so, would your company be interested in renegotating it?

Your American Tower Cell Tower Lease with AT&T as ATC's Tenant
by: Tower Genius

Tom & Lisa,

I edited things a tiny bit before posting your question. We must disclaim that we are not attorneys and don't provide legal advice but since we are experts in wireless telecommunications leasing we certainly can provide telecom guidance as it pertains to your deal with ATC.

I understand your frustration. We need to see your lease and any amendments you have signed in order to determine if they need to cure anything and see what your rights are, etc..

Please call us at 888-313-9750 or send us a Contact Form through the website here, or you can fax the lease to us at 888-313-9750.

Thanks,
Tower Genius
