land value for tower site

How is the value of the land determined in the lease agreement? If i give them under an acre to build a tower the county will tax me with an additional value for this site.

Depends on assessment
by: Stephen

They may not do anything... or they may have a set number they will assess you at, or if you live a really wonderful progressive liberal county they might assess the value of the telecommunications equipment with could be in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. That is why the tax provision negotiated between you and the carrier or tower company is VERY important.
