I wanted to respond quickly to your request. I hope you bookmarked this forum or requested the email response when you posted.

Couple of thoughts and questions...

1. Were you contacted directly by a wireless carrier like Verizon, AT&T or T-Mobile, including a site acquisition leasing company who is a direct subcontractor to build a tower?

2. Were you contacted by a Cell Tower Development company like American Tower or SBA?

Depending on how you handle the situation and ground lease / tower lease and subleasing portion of the proposal, you can do quite well for yourself and have nice monthly cell tower annuity check coming in for the next 25 years+, or only get a small piece of the revenue that will come in on this site. The cellular carriers and tower developers know that. Since you've received 2 requests this is important because you may be able to see some colocation revenue from out of the starting gate.

3. Are you located directly next to the NYS Thruway or near a commercial district - anywhere with a Wal-Mart or Home Depot for example? How far?

4. When did they contact you, and did they present you with a cell tower or ground lease?
