cell tower survey

by Sylvia
(Calgary, AB, Canada)

Our community does not want a cell tower. Rogers has signed a contract with the community church and now is looking for possible alternative locations. Our questions are: 1 - We need a surveyor to survey the site and give logical possibly alternative locations for a cell tower that we can present to the city and Rogers. 2- the church says they cannot get out the their contract (the tower has not been built) can the church get out of their contract? And we would need to present that to the church and the city.

Why is Rogers now looking for alternate cell tower locations?

Why are you opposed to the cell tower at the church?

There is no way that you can see the church's Rogers lease unless they show it to you. They probably signed an option to lease for 2 years and the carrier, Rogers, has the option to exercise the lease. They may have decided to seek alternative locations due to community opposition or possibly because the leasing representative did not select the best location from a zoning standpoint, which could be the case here.
